Seawright fifth in The Gobbler at Duck River Raceway Park

Making his first start since his alliance with Troy Baird Racing, Sam Seawright invaded Duck River Raceway Park (Wheel, Tenn.) on Saturday afternoon for The Gobbler with the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series.

With 29 Late Models in the pit area, Seawright qualified third-fastest before picking up a heat race victory to start the 50-lap main event from the second row. With a $10,000 payday on the line, Sam landed inside the Top-5 in fifth.
