Seawright podiums with Comp Cams Super Dirt Series at Magnolia Motor Speedway
Changing plans last minute due to unfavorable weather, Sam Seawright unloaded his Troy Baird Racing No. 16 machine at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Miss.) on Sunday afternoon with the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series.
With 26 Late Models checked in for the Labor Day special, Seawright qualified seventh-quickest before finishing second to Jeremy Shaw in his heat race. Battling inside the Top-5 for the entirety of the 40-lap feature, Sam came away with a runner-up finish at the checkered flag. He trailed race-winner Morgan Bagley while Brian Rickman completed the podium.
